The Very Useful Theatre Company (VUTC), producers of the prestigious Newmarket International Festival of One Act Plays, announced the approval of their organization’s Ad Grants from Google International.
Once the Google Ad Grants approval process is complete, Google generously provides eligible Non-Profits free advertising on the World Wide Web.
The effort to gain the grant was led by web designer Darryl Erentzen of Erentzen.com on behalf of the VUTC Board of Directors.
“Congratulations are sure in order,” says Paul Bath, President of The VUTC. “This will enable the VUTC to put out there a world class, interactive website.”
“This is truly great news,” says John Dowson, Co-Founder of The VUTC.
The Google Ad Grant will be used to raise awareness of the VUTC’s Newmarket International Festival of One Act Plays, Newmarket Ontario Canada and Newmarket’ s historic Main street.
Specifically, the areas that the company will focus on are:
- The VUTC’s mission to use theatre as a fundraising tool for local charities
- Newmarket International Festival of One Act Plays – driving traffic to the website and encouraging donations and ticket purchases
- Newmarket’s vibrant Main Street community
- Other attractions Newmarket has to offer, sipping a cool drink on the patio overlooking Fairy Lake, encouraging tourism and business in town, not to mention overnight accommodations
