John is thrilled to be back on stage at the Old Town Hall following an interval of 8 years. He is delighted to be performing in the beautifully restored Snapd Auditorium where he acted for many years. John wants to thank the outstanding cast of The Death of Me for making directing the play a truly enjoyable experience. A special thanks to Margaret for her usual support.

John

Mark has been in several other Norm Foster plays in the past such as “Kiss the moon, Kiss the Sun”, “Hilda’s Yard” and “Ned Durrango” the musical. He has also been in productions of “Lenin’s Embalmers” “Skin Flick”,” Buying the Moose” and “Ug The Caveman Musical” In addition Mark has won awards for lighting and acting as well as having the pleasure of singing with the Kindred Spirits Orchestra. Joanna Kaufman

A teacher is York Region, Joanna first caught the acting bug when she was cast as Little Red Riding Hood’s mother in a grade 3 class play. Since then, Joanna has participated in a variety of productions, including The Music Man, Annie, Cinderella, and Tom Sawyer. For the past several years, Joanna has been enthusiastically directing the musicals at her school. She is very grateful and happy to be cast in this terrific play with such a wonderful cast and she hopes that more interesting parts will come her way! Finally, Joanna sends a special thank you to her students, who inspire her every day.

Patricia O’Hare

Angel of Death

Patricia returns to the Newmarket stage as “The Angel of Death” after 4 years away doing filmwork. She has acted in over 30 movies and TV shows since playing “Mary” in Patrick Monk’s Measured Lives and “Gwen Pigeon” of The Odd Couple in Newmarket last. Patricia has been involved in community theatre both on and off the stage, since 2003. She has performed in musicals as well as comedies. She hopes you enjoy the show!
