Black Lives Matter

We are heartbroken at the violent anti-Black and anti-Indigenous racism we see across the country. We stand in solidarity with those peacefully demonstrating for justice. Black and Indigenous individuals bring their talent and skills to the stage and behind the scenes in the theatre and are valued members of our Canadian society. We must all continue to educate ourselves and work towards an authentic understanding about the systems of racism in which we all live. Marian Anderson said “No matter how big a nation is, it is no stronger than its weakest people”. Black Lives matter today and every day.
