The 2026 Newmarket International Festival of One Act Plays will be held Thursday Oct 1 to Sunday Oct 4 with additional pre-festival events to be added in the months preceding including workshops and live play readings. Stay informed of specific festival events by checking in on the website and festival social media platforms.The 2026 NIFOAPs received 119 entries that the reading committee has read through from which the festival and live play reading selections will be chosen. The festival has received entries from the far reaches of the world in 2026 and we look forward to this year’s festival being the best yet!
This year’s Festival will be adjudicated by Carey Nicholson, an experienced Adjudicator recognized by ACT-CO.
