Despite the increasing numbers of Covid-19 worldwide, the Very Useful Theatre Company is planning to present the prestigious Newmarket International Festival of One Act Plays on May 4, 5, and 6 of 2021 on the venerable Old Town Hall stage. The Very Useful Theatre Company has selected eight plays from over 130 entries into the Newmarket International Festival of One Act Plays, by seven playwrights coming from worldwide – this includes more tales of Carl and Ida by famed Hollywood writer Jim Geoghan and also a play centering on the Holocaust by skilled playwright Adam Szudrich of Australia. The Newmarket International Festival of One Act Plays really is an ‘international’ affair, presenting some sensational one act plays. Not to be missed!
